3 Day Minimum
Unlimited mileage applies only to rentals of 3 days or more. 1-2 day rentals are only allowed 250 free miles per day. Applies to passenger vans only.
Debit Card Users
AVR gladly accepts Debit Cards with major Credit Card logos.
NO PREPAID CARDS!
Local Customers that would like to rent using a debit card must provide additional identification information. Along with your drivers license you must provide a current utility bill, pay stub or vehicle registration that is the same as the name and address on the driver's license.
Customers traveling through the airport must be able to provide a copy of their roundtrip airline itinerary.

Cancellation notice
We require a minimum of 48 hours cancellation notice. 48 hours or more cancellation notices are at NO CHARGE. Less than 48 hours cancellation notices are subject to ONE FULL DAY RENTAL charge plus all applicable taxes.
24 Hr Reservation Notice
Any reservations made for Oakland need to be made 24 hours prior to pick up. Please call the office if you need a reservation with less notice to verify availability.
Age Requirements
Minimum Age: 21
Age 21 to 24 -
For drivers age 21 to 24, a surcharge of $15.00 per day applies.
Additional Drivers
2 additional drivers permitted an additional chargeof $ 15.00 applies per day(per additional driver)

Additional drivers are permitted. Additional will be asked to provide additional contact information.
A Surcharge of $15.00 a day applies for each additional driver.

Cancelation Policy
With your credit card we guarantee your reservation. We request that our customers to please notify our offices 48 hours prior to your reservation date with any cancellations to avoid a one day rental charge. In case of NO SHOW your credit card will be charged. As a courtesy to our valued renters, the amount charged for a NO SHOW can be used for any future rentals.
Insurance and Coverage
Please make sure to check with your insurance company and/or credit card company for information regarding your policy. Be sure to mention that you are renting a 12 or 15 passenger van, and they will inform you what your coverage is, as these vehicles are considered R.V`s. We offer CDW, RLP and SLI protection at the counter.
Geographic Restrictions
In most cases Passenger Vans will have 250 miles free per day, and $0.29 per mile thereafter. Unlimited Mileage applies to rentals of 3 days or more and within the states of California, Arizona, and Nevada.
Cargo Vans have only 200 free miles per day and $0.49 per mile thereafter.
Our vehicles are allowed out of the state.
*** You will need to confirm with the rental office what state you will be traveling to. Not disclosing this information will void the agreement and the customer will be subject to mileage charges from the moment they leave the rental office.***
Vehicles are allowed into Mexico with the proper insurance coverage.
